Men's Auxiliary News

For many years and still continuing today there have been numerous men in the community who have always made themselves available to support and even organize functions for our post. Many of these folks volunteered along side their fathers as young men and continue to serve their community today in the same capacity. The Auxiliary is our way of recognizing and saying "Thanks" to these men who give their time unselfishly to support the community.

On 27 April 2010 a meeting was held by the Post Commander to announce that we now have enough members to apply for the Mens Auxiliary Charter. At this meeting the Townsend VFW Mens Auxiliary elected their first Officers as required to apply for a charter. A lot of work still needs to be done and much paper work to fill out but it's all worth it.

Congratulations!!! Townsend VFW Mens Auxiliary Officers
